  1. With all do respect I own a Clarks Whiddon Pace Oxford full grain leather shoes for 5 yrs now , and they are still holding up and looking good. I only use them for work. I walk and stand in them for eight hours a day, and they are still super comfortable. Yes, they can scuff and scratch easily, but so does the other Allen Edmond shoes I got years ago. In my own experience the only difference is the price; I paid $60 for my Clarks and $300 for my Allen Edmond!! I stopped wearing my Allen Edmonds after their soles started wearing off, and pissed off after the so called full grain leather quality was no different then my less expensive Clarks. So I disagree with the claim that a $300 and up shoes are any better in quality then my $60 Clarks Whiddon Pace Oxford Full grain leather shoes!! It is false to claim that an expensive full grain leather shoes does not crease in comparison to a much cheaper full grain leather shoes. It is the nature of full grain leather to crease and wrinkled over time the more you use it. I gave up on the so called high quality shoes a long time ago; they are just over priced, and only great for one’s ego!!

  2. I own bespoke carminas…very dumb purchase but I love them at the same time…like $3800 is crazy when u can get non custom pairs of the same shoe model for 1k but custom patina is time extensive and the craftsmanship at carmina is unmatched!
